Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (LSE:COPL, CSE:XOP, OTC:VELXF)’s indirect affiliate COPL America has received a notice of default from a senior lender. COPL anticipates that it will require additional financing in January 2024 but should it be unsuccessful in raising the required capital, it would have to seek some form of creditor protection.
