Chill Brands up on deal with 'top five' supermarket chain

Chill Brands shares were up 10% at one point on news it had agreed to supply its range of nicotine-free vapour products to a top five UK supermarket.

The supermarket was not identified, but Chill Brands said the initial order would go into 1,500 of its stores and be on sale during the first quarter of 2024.

Following this roll-out, standard market-listed Chill said its ZERO vape products will have been sold in more than 2,100 locations since their launch in August, generating sales and purchase orders of £1.85m.

Callum Sommerton, chief executive, commented: “This milestone not only signifies a major leap forward for Chill Brands in terms of revenues but also serves as a resounding validation of our product's appeal and the strength of our brand.”

Shares eased back later to rise by 0.05p to 5.3p.
