Looking Glass Labs announced the appointment of Jared Gurfein as its new CEO, effective immediately.
In a statement, Looking Glass Labs said that Gurfein brings a wealth of legal and business expertise to the role, having commenced his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Milton Pollack (USDC-SDNY).
His experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel and later General Counsel of NTL Incorporated (now Virgin Media) and co-founding Lucid Absinthe, where he successfully legalized Absinthe in the USA after a 95-year ban.
Gurfein is currently a member of Hawkwood Group, LLC, an early-stage private equity firm, and operates his own private law firm, Jared L. Gurfein, Esq., with a focus on commercial and corporate work, particularly in technology, early-stage companies, and beverage alcohol.
Dorian Banks has resigned as the CEO of Looking Glass Labs and from all director and officer positions of the company's subsidiaries, effective immediately, the company said in a statement expressing gratitude to Banks for his contributions.
