Power Metal Resources identifies four new uranium targets

The prospects are in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan

Power Metal Resources said it has identified four new high-priority targets at properties in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada following a magnetic survey.

Two targets are at the Clearwater project (Toots Lake, Nesbitt Fault) and two at Cook Lake.

Sean Wade, Power Metals' chief executive, commented that the company had expected good reading for the drone survey but the scale of the positive results has been “quite remarkable”.

"Our 2023 Athabasca exploration programme has already added considerable value to our extensive Athabasca Uranium (TSX-V:UAX)-focused properties.

“At a time when the uranium price is entering a major bull market phase, and interest in junior explorers with attractive projects in the Athabasca Basin grows, we find ourselves in an enviable position.

“Further exploration results are pending, which will be factored into our ongoing work to crystallise value."
