The statement from vice president sales Aaron Archibald came during COP28, where 134 nations, representing 5.7 billion people, pledged their commitment to the "COP28 Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action."
The move marks the first commitment at a COP Summit to endorse sustainable agriculture science and evidence-based innovations globally.
CO2 GRO said it sees this commitment as a significant opportunity to expand and deploy its proven commercial precision agriculture technology worldwide.
The firm’s technology is designed to boost crop yields sustainably by up to 30% at existing grow facilities without using CO2, minimizing the carbon footprint impact. For greenhouses in cold countries that can utilize CO2, the technology can cut up to 95% of their CO2 use, creating carbon credits.
