Intellectual property commercialisation specialist Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP)’s portfolio company The Vaccine Group (TVG) has formed an advisory board comprising high-ranking veterinary experts to support the scale-up of its innovative herpesvirus-based vaccine platform.
Forming the advisory board marks a crucial step for TVG as it progresses in developing a robust vaccine pipeline for use in livestock, pets and wildlife to tackle a range of viral and bacterial pathogens that cause severe economic harm and can also pose a threat to human health.
The advisory board consists of three high-ranking veterinary experts with strong business experience and connections to major companies and other organisations in the animal health sector.
They are:
- Christophe Barnier-Quer from Merck Life Science
- Johan Dreesen, an expert in animal health consultancy and doctor in veterinary medicine, and
- Vaughn Kubiak, a veteran in global animal health
Their collective expertise spans various facets of veterinary health and business, promising to bring invaluable insights and guidance to TVG.

TVG currently has 12 vaccines under development, addressing diseases like African swine fever, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, and Lassa fever.
All vaccines are based on the company's tunable herpesvirus-based platforms.
