Wishbone Gold reports more visual signs from Cottesloe drilling

Wishbone Gold PLC (AIM:WSBN, AQSE:WSBN) said core samples from drilling at its Cottesloe project in the Paterson Range in Western Australia contained visual signs of mineralisation.

Cottesloe comprises three tenements totalling 50 blocks covering an area of 165 sq km, with core from the drill holes showing zones of 10-20% base metal sulphides while X-ray scans indicated elevated base metals.

Samples from two holes have been sent for analysis in Perth with half of the core to to be allocated to the WA government as part of the EIS-funded drilling grant.

Richard Poulden, Wishbone Gold's chairman, commented: "To have more visually encouraging results from the new holes drilled at Cottesloe is a great sign.”
