Leeuwin Metals Ltd (ASX:LM1) MD Chris Piggott tells Proactive that surface channel sampling in maiden fieldwork has returned high-grade assay results confirming a 4.7-kilometre mineralised trend at the Cross Lake Lithium Project in Manitoba, Canada. Thirty channel samples were collected and all sampling has returned evidence of a large LCT pegmatite system. In addition a high-grade rock chip sample returned 4.09% Li2O. Drill permitting is well advanced, with the tendering process for a drill rig currently underway.
