Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host, is set to launch his own subscription streaming service, the Tucker Carlson Network, priced at $72 per year.
In a video announcement Monday, Carlson revealed the platform had been in the works for several months, featuring interviews and content now available on tuckercarlson.com.
Carlson’s move follows his dismissal from Fox News in April, where he was the network's most popular host.
The host alleged in a book that his firing was related to Fox News' $787 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, a claim denied by the network. Since leaving Fox News, Carlson has used the platform X (formerly Twitter) for his right-wing talk show, "Tucker on X," where he has posted 47 episodes, including interviews with figures like Alex Jones and Donald Trump.
His new network, currently offering promotional subscriptions at $6 per month for founding members, features diverse content categories, interviews, and commentary. Subscribers also gain access to limited edition merchandise and a "direct line" to Carlson and his team.
The streaming service emphasizes independence from corporate influence, with Carlson characterizing it as a news project. He secured $15 million in funding for the venture from 1789 Capital, an investment firm led by banker Omeed Malik. The website is operated by Last Country Inc., an entity founded by Carlson and Neil Patel, his co-founder at the Daily Caller, according to Wall Street Journal reports.
The Tucker Carlson Network has already launched with interviews featuring Kid Rock, UFC CEO Dana White, and former President Donald Trump.
