Shares in Zenova Group PLC (AIM:ZED) jumped 11% on Monday morning as the company confirmed that its fire extinguishers were compliant with European rules and that orders had been received.
Zenova FX fluid’s compliance was confirmed through an independent analysis, Zenova said, which also showed it contained fewer harmful polyfluorinated substances than standard.
This makes the extinguishing liquid less-environmentally damaging, according to the group.
A preliminary order for 100 units has since been received from a large strategic client in Germany meanwhile, with boss Thomas Melchior commenting the sale was just a “first step”.
Shares climbed 11.2% to 4.17p.
