Global Energy Metals Corp (TSX-V:GEMC) (GEMC) told investors it has reached a milestone with the filing of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report for its Lovelock Mine and Treasure Box projects in Nevada after taking full ownership of the projects.
The company said the report, prepared by independent consultant Trevor Mills of Dahrouge Geological Consulting USA Ltd, is an important step as it will simplify decision-making and help facilitate the exploration and development of vital US-based battery minerals.
"We will now evaluate and compare a broad selection of options for the purpose of maximizing value and realize the potential, as demonstrated by the Report, the Projects have in the growing North American battery metals market,” GEMC CEO Mitchell Smith said in a statement.
The company noted that the Lovelock Mine Property encompasses 27 contiguous unpatented lode mining claims in Pershing County and 63 unpatented lode mining claims in Churchill County, Nevada, covering approximately 1,813 acres. Meanwhile, the Treasure Box Property comprises 76 contiguous unpatented lode mining claims in Churchill County, Nevada, covering around 1,561 acres.
GEMC said the report summarizes previous exploration on the property and provides recommendations for future work. Notably, both properties have shown positive exploration results, indicating the potential to advance known mineralization. The report suggests continued exploration with additional IP surveys and/or controlled-source audio magnetotellurics to provide further definition of geological features.
GEMC offers investment exposure to the growing rechargeable battery and electric vehicle (EV) market by building a diversified global portfolio of exploration and growth-stage battery mineral assets.
