Wishpond Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:WISH, OTCQX:WPNDF) announced that it has filed a non-provisional utility patent titled Virtual Artificial Intelligence (AI) Representative to protect the technology underpinning its upcoming SalesCloser AI platform expected to launch later this year.
SalesCloser AI leverages large language models and deep learning for voice synthesis to act as a Virtual AI Representative, able to perform automated product demonstrations and presentations and conduct sales calls, including answering questions. It will be available 24/7 in several languages.
Wishpond said it expects its Virtual AI Representative will be able to be adapted for various industries such as for use as customer service representatives, financial planners, tutors, healthcare attendants and receptionists.
It also believes there are use cases for the platform in market research and data collection, translation services, behavioral therapy, autoresponders, education and more.
"We recognize the importance for Wishpond to stay ahead of the competition and protect its intellectual property and technology," Wishpond CEO Ali Tajskandar said in a statement.
"Wishpond is developing a comprehensive suite of AI-based marketing and sales solutions and this patent application for a Virtual AI Representative is a key element in our development roadmap as it will be powering our SalesCloser AI solution that will be launched very soon."
