The Afterhours — Asana, MongoDB, SentinelOne, Rent the Runway, Skillsoft

Asana Inc shares sank more than 11% in Tuesday’s after-hours session after the work management platform’s third-quarter fiscal 2024 financial results exceeded expectations, but investors punished its stock following another quarterly loss.

The company reported a 3Q adjusted net loss of $0.04 a share on revenue that rose 18% year over year to $166.5 million.

MongoDB Inc (NASDAQ:MDB) shares fell 4.5% in extended trading Tuesday despite the company topping expectations on the top and bottom lines with its third-quarter results.

The database software company posted adjusted earnings of $0.96 per share, compared to Street expectations of $0.51 per share. Revenue was $432.9 million, up 30% year-over-year, and above expectations of $406.3 million.

SentinelOne Inc stock popped more than 17% after hours Tuesday after topping Street expectations with its third-quarter results and raised its full-year guidance.

The cybersecurity company posted revenue of $164.2 million, up 42% year over year and above expectations of $156.1 million. Its adjusted loss was $0.03 per share, compared to expectations of $0.08 per share.

Rent the Runway stock moved higher after the fashion rental platform provider’s announcement that it has restructured its corporate debt overshadowed disappointing third-quarter earnings.

The company said that under the amended credit facility with its existing lender, it has eliminated interest for the next six fiscal quarters and reduced the minimum liquidity covenant from $50 million to $30 million.

Skillsoft shares slid in extended trading Tuesday after the company posted mixed third-quarter results and underwhelming guidance.

The education software company posted revenue of $139 million, down 0.3% year over year and below Street expectations of $144.3 million. Its adjusted loss was $2.92 per share, narrower than the expected $3.41 per share.
