Lululemon Athletica (NASDAQ:LULU) is likely to report revenue and earnings at the higher end of expectations when it releases its third-quarter results after the closing bell on Thursday.
The Vancouver-based athletic apparel retailer has already flagged 3Q revenue of $2.165 billion to $2.19 billion for the quarter after a strong 2Q as it grew market shares and lured new customers into the brand.
Analysts believe it will come out on top.
According to the consensus earnings estimate, it will deliver an 18% rise in revenue to $2.19 billion for the quarter. Earnings per share are likely to be 13.5% higher at $2.27, according to analysts polled by Zacks Equity Research.
The company’s shares reflect its strong performance so far for 2023. They were up 0.8% in early Tuesday afternoon trading, taking year-to-date gains to 43%.
