Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd (CSE:HEAT, OTCQB:HLRTF) announced that it has appointed Daryn Gordon as its new chief financial officer (CFO) effective December 1, 2023, upon the departure of Samuel Yik.
The clean technology company said Gordon, who has more than two decades of finance and accounting experience, has previously provided CFO services to Canadian public companies across a variety of industries.
"His wealth of experience in the public and capital markets adds value and is sure to elevate the company's financial and accounting capabilities," Hillcrest Energy Technologies CEO Don Currie said in a statement.
Hillcrest also noted that it will be presenting at the Investor Summit Group's virtual investor conference, an invitation-only event connecting microcap and small cap companies with strong fundamentals and growth prospects with potential investors and buyside analysts, on December 7, 2023.

As well, the company reported that it has granted stock options to a consultant to acquire up to 102,000 Hillcrest common shares at a price of $0.35 per share.
The options, which have a five-year term, will vest in tranches of 25,500 on a quarterly basis in 2024.
