Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF) announced that it has appointed Jay Park KC to its board of directors.
The natural gas-focused producer said Park, a renowned energy lawyer with a particular focus on upstream oil and gas transactions, has worked on energy projects in more than 50 countries, including Turkey.
Trillion also noted that Park, the former CEO of ReconAfrica (TSX-V:RECO), is currently executive chairman of MCF Energy Ltd, a company exploring for gas in Europe.
As well, the company announced the resignation and retirement of Dr Barry Wood from its board of directors.
Trillion Energy International is focused on natural gas production for Europe and Turkey with natural gas assets in Turkey and Bulgaria.
The company is 49% owner of the SASB natural gas field, one of the Black Sea’s first and largest-scale natural gas development projects; a 19.6% (except three wells with 9.8%) interest in the Cendere oil field; and three oil exploration blocks located in Turkey’s Cudi-Gabar Oil Petroleum Province.
