1606 Corp. (OTC:CBDW) has launched a dedicated sales team for its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot ChatCBDW and its first marketing initiative will be an email-based campaign targeting 3,000 United States CBD merchants in December, the company announced on Tuesday.
The company said its sales team will be led by experienced communications and marketing professional Derek McCarthy.
It has the ambitious goal of contacting every CBD company in the United States to bring their attention to ChatCBDW and how it can help them boost sales conversions and offer an improved customer experience, the company said.
"We're ready to commercialize our technology to help solve the number one issue in CBD sales which is customer education," 1606 CEO Greg Lambrecht said in a statement.
"Our technology is more of a helpline for CBD customers who don't know much about CBD in general. With ChatCBDW, we're not just providing a tool to business owners, we're offering a comprehensive resource to CBD customers that will educate them about CBD products, and provide them confidence when purchasing CBD products."
