Ocean Power Technologies Inc (NYSE-A:OPTT) announced it has started mailing definitive proxy materials to stockholders ahead of its 2023 annual meeting on January 31, 2024.
In a statement, the company urged stockholders to vote only using the white proxy card to support the election of all its director nominees and the continued execution of its strategy.
OPT noted a recent court ruling denying a request from shareholder Paragon Technologies to block the company from continuing to reject Paragon’s deficient notice of nominations of a control slate of nominees for election at the meeting.
