Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) saw its sales in the United States fall by 0.5% in November as vehicle production resumed at some of its plants following disruptions caused by the United Auto Workers’ strike.
The company on Monday reported total sales of 145,559 in November, down from 146,364 for the same month in 2022.
This comes after a 5.3% drop in sales in the prior month ahead of Ford reaching an agreement with the union in late October.
In November, hybrid vehicle sales increased by 75.2% year-over-year to 12,108 vehicles and electric vehicle sales rose 43.2% to 8,958.
On the other hand, sales of internal combustion engine cars were down 6.5% to 124,493 compared to the same period last year while truck sales decreased by 2.8% to 78,971 vehicles.
Ford shares traded up 1.5% at US$10.73 late morning on Monday.
