Avingtrans PLC (AIM:AVG), which specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of critical components for the energy, medical and industrial sectors, said its subsidiary, Magnetica, has appointed a US distributor.
Televere Systems, a leader in radiography product distribution, will play a key part in Magnetica's expansion in the States, particularly with the commercial roll-out of its cutting-edge MRI technology featuring ultra-compact superconducting magnets.
Uniquely, the new product operates without liquid helium. The company is targeting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for this innovation by mid-2024.
