Darcy Taylor of Cellular Goods talks about the expansion of Wellness division - ICYMI

In an interview with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion, Darcy Taylor, the Chairman and Interim CEO of Cellular Goods PLC (LSE:CBX), discussed the company's latest strides in its wellness division. Taylor delved into the expansion of the 'Look Better' skin range across several European countries, notable partnerships, and future plans for the brand.

Stephen Gunnion (SG): Hello Darcy, great to have you here. Can you tell us about the recent expansion of your wellness division in Europe?

Darcy Taylor (DT): Thank you, Stephen. We're thrilled about our recent launches in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Our strategy is to enter CBG-friendly markets with strong consumer demand and potential for a good return on investment.

These new markets, combined with our innovative skincare products like the rejuvenating face serum, align with our mission to provide cutting-edge skincare. We're also leveraging the Christmas shopping season to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth.

SG: You launched on Sephora UK back in May. How have promotional campaigns there impacted your brand?

DT: Being part of Sephora UK's promotional programs has been fantastic. These campaigns have allowed us to reach a broader audience, expanding our customer base and raising awareness about our products. As the first CBD skincare brand in Sephora's offerings, this partnership has been instrumental in leveraging our brand's presence.

SG: Can you elaborate on the significance of Jamie Greenberg's swag bag inclusion for your brand?

DT: Absolutely. Jamie Greenberg is a well-known makeup artist with influential clients like Taylor Swift and Margot Robbie. Being selected for her swag bag in November is a significant endorsement. This inclusion has increased our brand's visibility and appeal, particularly in the US market.

SG: Tell us about your partnership with Chill.com in the UK and US.

DT: Chill.com, part of the Chills Brand Groups, is an online wellness product platform in the UK and US. Our partnership aims to boost our profile and sales in these markets. We're the anchor skincare brand on Chill.com, benefiting from their brand building and customer base expansion efforts. This collaboration is key to our efficient distribution strategy and driving revenue growth.

SG: What's next for the 'Look Better' skincare range?

DT: We plan to continue expanding our distribution into new markets, focusing on revenue growth and enhancing visibility among both new and existing customers.

SG: It sounds like Cellular Goods has a busy and promising period ahead. Thanks for the insights, Darcy.
