The Afterhours — Dell, Ulta Beauty, UiPath, Marvell Technology, Zumiez

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) delivered mixed third-quarter fiscal 2024 financial results after Thursday’s close, beating on the bottom line while its top-line figure fell short. Dell stock slipped as much as 4% after hours.

The computer company’s 3Q revenue declined 10% year over year to $22.3 billion, just shy of the $23.01 billion consensus analyst estimate, on a slower-than-expected recovery in the hardware and software market.

Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ:ULTA) shares popped nearly 9% in extended trading Thursday on third-quarter results that beat Street expectations.

The makeup retailer posted earnings of $5.07 per share, above analyst estimates of $4.99 per share, on revenue of $2.5 billion, above estimates of $2.47 billion.

UiPath Inc (NYSE:PATH) shares climbed more than 11.5% in extended trading Thursday to its highest point in more than a year and a half after the company beat expectations on the top and bottom lines.

The automation software company posted adjusted earnings of $0.12 per share, above expectations of $0.07 per share. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) was 1.38 billion, up 24% year-over-year, and topping expectations of $1.36 billion.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) shares slid 2.6% after the bell Thursday on declining third-quarter revenue and underwhelming guidance.

The semiconductor company posted adjusted earnings of $0.41 per share, down from $0.57 per share a year earlier and in line with Street expectations of $0.40. Revenue fell to $1.42 billion from $1.54 billion over the same span but beat the consensus estimate of $1.4 billion.

Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ:ZUMZ) shares rose nearly 2% in extended trading Thursday following a narrower-than-expected third-quarter loss.

The clothing retailer posted a loss of $0.12 per share, compared to Street expectations of $0.17 per share, on revenue of $216.3 million in the period, above forecasts of $213.4 million.
