Silver Bullet Mines Corp. (TSX-V:SBMI, OTC:SBMCF) said it has started shipping mineralized material from its Buckeye mine to the mill.
The first trucks loading at the mine site mark a crucial step toward the ongoing processing at the mill.
Processing will start once sufficient material from Zone1 reaches the mill to optimize efficiency, the company reported.
Silver Bullet said it intends to treat this material as a bulk sample to ensure a consistent head grade and maximize recoveries.
Continuous sampling and assaying will occur throughout the milling process, allowing Silver Bullet to fine-tune the blend of materials for optimal recovery rates. The anticipated run, expected to start soon, is poised to culminate in the production of saleable dore bars.
According to Silver Bullet, the vein remains wide, measuring over 19 feet at a distance of approximately 735 feet from the portal. Recent samples extracted from the vein face and floor recorded silver concentrations ranging from 11.0 to 24.2 ounces per ton, with an average of 16.2 ounces per ton silver.
Additionally, Silver Bullet announced the addition of John Kontak to its board of directors. Kontak boasts an extensive background as a director and officer of public resource companies, most recently as president of West Red Lake Gold Mines.
