Macroeconomic issues take centre stage on Friday, though the big US jobs report that normally comes on the first Friday of the month is coming a week later this time.
However, there will be manufacturing survey data for several major economies, including the UK and US, and a speech from Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell, following counterparts Andrew Bailey and Christine Lagarde earlier in the week (Wednesday and Monday respectively), ahead of meetings for the trio on 13 and 14 December.
