Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE) climbed to a five-year high as the Aussie-based explorer published more impressive-looking drill results from its Pitfield project in Western Australia.
Titanium mineralisation extended at hefty grades almost from where it put the drill bit in the ground until it stopped at 350 metres (m), the junior reported in its latest update.
Assays from the two holes, which were 12km apart, showed one intercept of 297m at 6.1% metal with the other only marginally less impressive.
Empire is now targeting the potentially highest-grade areas, though said that with the strike area 40km long by 8km wide it has a lot of work to do to establish just how big Pitfield might be.
Shares rose 1.15p to 9.75p, marking a six-fold increase since May.
