LifeSafe shares tank 41% after it says increased costs will render it loss-making

Shares in LifeSafe Holdings PLC (AIM:LIFS) collapsed 41% after it sounded the earnings alarm.

In a trading update, it said it had been hit by increased costs in digital advertising and logistics, especially in the US, which has impacted profitability.

The fire safety technology group told investors it now expects to book an underlying loss of between £1.3 million to £1.5 million on revenue of £5.7 million to £5.9 million.

At 9.35 am, the shares were changing hands for 17.15p, down 11.85p.
