Talon Metals sees significant expansion potential at Tamarack nickel project

Talon Metals Corp. (TSX:TLO, OTC:TLOFF) sees significant expansion potential for the resource at its Tamarack nickel project in Minnesota.

The company recently released the results of 116 drill holes at the project, of which 20 were exploration holes aimed at expanding the resource area. Of these 20 holes, 14 intersected high-grade nickel-copper mineralization outside of the project’s resource area.

The company’s Vice President of Geology Etienne Dinel told Proactive that Talon Metal’s strategy is to remain an exploration play.

“We’re focusing on finding a new high-grade satellite body outside of the resource area,” he said.

“Clearly, there’s more around the resource that we’re recognizing and it’s positive for future mine production.”

He said the company was currently working in the Raptor Zone and in the upcoming winter months, it plans to look at the 164 Zone to the south of the resource.

Talon Metals is a TSX-listed base metals company developing the high-grade Tamarack nickel-copper-cobalt project located in central Minnesota.
