Fusion Antibodies shares jump 15% on National Cancer Institute tie-up

Shares in Fusion Antibodies PLC (AIM:FAB) rose 15% following the announcement of a collaboration agreement with the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

This tie-up will leverage Fusion's OptiMAL technology for the discovery of novel antibodies, primarily targeting cancer.

Over the next two years, NCI will use OptiMAL to develop potential therapeutic antibodies.

The collaboration includes joint publication of results and validation of the technology, conducted by NCI staff in their laboratories. NCI, a key US federal agency for cancer research, retains any antibodies identified through this agreement.

At 9.18 am, the shares were up 0.52p at 3.97p.
