Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (OTC:LBSR), dba Liberty Star Minerals, announced that it has engaged the services of James (Jim) Bryce as a consulting geologist to review the geological merit of its properties.
The mineral exploration company said Bryce will also be acting as project manager for a core drilling program at the gold exploration Red Rock Canyon project and the adjacent exploration stage Hay Mountain project in Arizona for commercially important metals associated with porphyry copper-gold-moly geologic structures.
Liberty Star noted that Bryce has over 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry, specifically involving gold, silver, and copper exploration and mining operations.
Bryce will begin his work with Liberty Star on December 1, 2023, the company added.
Liberty Star stock soared 151%, on volume of about four million shares, to close at $0.13 on Monday.
Arizona-based Liberty Star Minerals is actively engaged in acquiring and exploring mineral properties in the mineral-rich regions of Arizona and the southwestern US.
