Holiday-goers are apparently more likely to consider a psychedelic retreat as part of their getaway in 2024.
Around one in six people said they would consider the mindfulness-focused retreats as a holiday, according to research from Booking.com.
Companies like Beckley Retreats and Synthesis offer customers the chance to experience psychedelics in a safe environment while with experts.
These retreats, which often take place in countries like the Netherlands and Jamacia, focus on helping guests explore their minds.
It works by offering guests a mix of legal psychedelic drugs - such as psilocybin in some countries - and mindfulness activities like meditation, breathwork, and dance.
The Psychedelic Society, a global organisation focused on mind-altering drugs, said even the UK hosts retreats, where legal substances, as well as other practises, are used to help guests achieve spirituality.
