Shares of abrdn European Logistics Income PLC rose 7% after it announced a strategic review and said it was considering options such as a merger or asset sales ahead of a crucial vote at the June 2024 annual meeting.
Launched in December 2017 to capitalise on Europe's growing e-commerce, the company has amassed a £573 million portfolio across five countries.
Recently, it has faced challenges such as an uncovered dividend target and a market capitalisation of £234 million, which may deter investors.
The review aims to address these issues and the significant discount of share prices to net asset value, exploring paths to enhance shareholder value, investors were told.
At 8.49 am, the stock was up 3.8p at 60.6p.
