AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE:AZO) is set to report higher revenues and increased profits for the three-month period ending Saturday, November 18, when it reports its first quarter fiscal 2023 results before the stock market opens on Tuesday, December 5.
The specialty retailer focused on automotive replacement parts and accessories is expected to report a 4.5% year-over-year increase in revenue from $3.99 billion to $4.17 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) are expected to increase by 11.2% to US$30.52, up from $27.45 in the year-ago quarter.
The market will also be on the lookout for management’s expectations for the current quarter, fiscal 2Q, expecting EPS of $26.61 on revenue of $3.85 billion.
AutoZone shares finished Wednesday’s trading day at US$2,672 and have gained about 9.9% in the year to date.
