QMines thanks outgoing chairman Simon Kidston

QMines Ltd (ASX:QML) has thanked non-executive chairman and director Simon Kidston for his service to the company following his resignation.

Kidston has advised the company that this decision has been made in order to focus on his other business interests.

QMines’ managing director Andrew Sparke has been appointed executive chairman of the company going forward.

“Has provided strong guidance”

Commenting on the resignation, Sparke, said; “Simon has been a valuable member of the QMines team and has provided strong guidance on the company's growth strategy, the recent Develin Creek acquisition and various capital markets initiatives.

“On behalf of the board and our shareholders, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Simon for all his efforts throughout the year and wish him all the best with his other endeavours.”
