Pan African Resources PLC (AIM:PAF, OTCQX:PAFRY, JSE:PAN, OTCQX:PAFRF) (PAF) is positioned to deliver "excellent results" for the full financial year, chief executive Cobus Loots told investors.

The gold miner, in an interim production report released today, said half-year gold output was between 94,000 and 98,000 ounces – representing a 2% to 6% improvement on the same period a year ago.

Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) said it has begun an exploratory due diligence drilling programme on the Dokwe gold project in Zimbabwe, where it has a 1.3% interest.

The AIM-listed explorer's stake in the venture, which is majority owned by Rockover Holdings Ltd, was acquired through the Asgard Metals Fund, as announced last week.

Atlantic Lithium Ltd (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11) said electricity costs are coming down at its Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana, thanks to a bulk customer permit that is one of several recent developments in preparation for initial production within two years.

The one-year permit from Ghana's Energy Commission allows the company to now bid with bulk energy providers, which is expected to result in a 30-50% overall power cost reduction.

NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd (LSE:NESF) has unveiled a higher dividend at the half-year stage and anticipates this will increase over the coming months.

Reporting on the six months to September, NextEnergy announced a dividend of 4.18p per ordinary share, marking an increase from the 3.76p granted last year.
