Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock fell more than 1% in extended trading Tuesday as concern over the impact of export restrictions in China outweighed an expectations beat.
The chipmaker posted revenue of $18.12 billion, more than triple what it reported in the year-ago quarter and well above Street expectations of $16.18 billion. Adjusted earnings were $4.02 per share, compared to expectations of $3.37.
HP Inc (NYSE:HPQ) shares dropped more than 3% after hours Tuesday as the company’s fiscal first-quarter guidance underwhelmed investors.
The company guided for fiscal first-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.76 to $0.86 per share, the midpoint of which is below the analyst consensus of $0.86 per share. The PC company maintained its full-year adjusted earnings projection range of $3.25 to $3.65 per share.
Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN) shares moved higher after Tuesday’s closing bell as the retailer posted better-than-expected sales and profits for the third quarter.
The retailer, whose brands include Anthropologie, Free People, FP Movement, Urban Outfitters and Nuuly, reported a 9% year-over-year increase in revenue to a record $1.28 billion, above estimates of $1.26 billion.
Autodesk Inc (NASDAQ:ADSK) shares moved up as much as 4% in Tuesday’s afterhours session after the engineering software company reported third-quarter fiscal 2024 financial results that exceeded Wall Street expectations.
Its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter came in at $2.07, while revenue rose 10% year over year to $1.41 billion, which was boosted by expansions from existing clients.
Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN) shares fell in afterhours trade on Tuesday after the retailer reported mixed third-quarter financial results. Shares of the company fell 2.6% to US$14.52 shortly after the release of its report.
For the three months ended October 28, 2023, Nordstrom reported revenue of $3.3 billion, below estimates of $3.39 billion.
Guess Inc (NYSE:GES) shares plunged 15% in extended trading after the apparel company missed Street expectations with its third-quarter results.
The Switzerland-based company posted adjusted earnings of $0.49 per share on revenue of $651.2 million, missing expectations of $0.62 per share on revenue of $656.2 million.
Jack in the Box Inc (NASDAQ:JACK) stock declined 5.5% after the company missed fiscal fourth-quarter earnings expectations.
The San Diego-based fast food company, which also owns Del Taco, reported adjusted earnings of $1.09 per share on revenue of f $372.5 million in the period, compared to expectations of $1.15 per share on revenue of $368 million.
