Shares in defence contractor QinetiQ Group PLC (LSE:QQ.) fell almost 5% in early trade following a mixed set of interim figures.
While the underlying profit of £77.3 million was in line with expectations, the cash conversion rate undershot, analysts said.
But as broker Shore Capital pointed out in an early note, this was purely a 'timing' issue that should unwind in the second half.
Alongside the half-year results, investors were given a confident assessment of prospects backed by a strong order book.
In early deals, QinetiQ shares were changing hands for 334p, down 16.6p.
