Guild Esports PLC (LSE:GILD, OTCQB:GULDF) has officially opened the Guild Simulator Facility at its state-of-the-art Sky Guild Gaming Centre in Shoreditch, London.
The simulator facility houses six sim racing rigs provided by Guild's official sim racing peripherals partner, Fanatec.
In addition to the simulator facility serving as a training facility for Guild's professional esports players, the cutting-edge simulators provide an additional revenue stream to the company via experiential sim racing packages available for corporates, the wider public and the esports community.
Guild has also announced a simulator facility membership programme where prospective racers can gain access to the setup for a £59.99 monthly fee.
Members will receive full telemetric performance data to show them individualised areas for improvement in their esport of choice.
The simulator facility is featured in Sky Broadband’s latest advertising campaign featuring Guild Esports’ co-owner David Beckham.
The advertisement launched on Saturday, 11 November across Sky's channels including Sky Sports and was first broadcast during a Premier League football match between Newcastle FC and A.F.C. Bournemouth, resulting in exposure for the Guild brand amongst Sky audiences.
Jasmine Skee, chief executive of Guild Esports, commented: "The Sky Guild Gaming Centre is the new home of sim racing in London. The grand opening of our state-of-the-art facility is an excellent development for the company, not just as it generates revenue but as it provides an opportunity for our professional coaches to spot the esports stars of tomorrow.
"As the Sky Guild Gaming Centre continues its evolution into a premier esports destination, the simulator facility represents an enhancement to our portfolio of services, catering to the gaming community at large and exposing new audiences to the sport owing to our prime London location in a popular area with high footfall."
