Grindr Inc (NYSE:GRND) shares moved 2.8% higher after the company reported a jump in revenue and a narrowing loss for the third quarter and raised its 2023 outlook.
Grindr, best known for its dating app of the same name which serves the LGBTQ+ community, reported a 39% year-over-year increase in revenue to $70.3 million. Direct revenue rose 43% to $61.6 billion and indirect revenue was up 21% to $8.7 million.
AECOM Technology (NYSE:ACM) shares rose more than 1% after its fiscal fourth-quarter results surpassed Street expectations on the top and bottom lines.
The infrastructure consulting firm posted revenue of $3.84 billion in the period, up from $3.43 billion a year earlier and topping expectations of $3.69 billion. Adjusted earnings were $1.01 per share, up from $0.75 in the year-ago quarter and above expectations of $0.97.
Sun Life Financial (TSX:SLF) saw its stock fall 1.5% after hours despite topping Street expectations with its third-quarter earnings.
The Toronto company posted earnings per share of $1.48, up from $1.29 per share a year earlier and above expectations of $1.14. Underlying net income was $930 million, compared to $949 million in the year-ago quarter.
Fisker Inc (NYSE:FSR), the electric vehicle (EV) startup, saw its shares tumble nearly 15% following a wider-than-expected third-quarter loss.
The company reported a loss of $0.27 per share, compared to a loss of $0.19 expected by analysts. Revenue of $71.8 million fell well short of the $109 million expected by analysts.
