Amaroq Minerals collaborates with ERM International on Greenland sustainability strategy

Amaroq Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:AMRQ, AIM:AMRQ), an independent mine development company with a significant land package of gold and strategic mineral assets in Greenland, is moving ahead with its sustainability strategy.

The company said it has engaged ERM International Group Limited, a renowned advisory firm specializing in sustainability, to conduct a strategic review of its sustainability management and performance.

ERM, one of the world's largest advisory firms exclusively focused on sustainability, partners with organizations to implement sustainable practices on a global scale.

The strategic review is being led by Joan Plant, recently appointed as executive vice president and now a member of Amaroq’s executive team.

"Sustainability is at the heart of Amaroq’s purpose to create a Greenlandic legacy,” Plant said in a statement. “We are excited to be partnering with ERM to strategically review our sustainability approach, and we look forward to working with them to implement our vision to support the energy transition and deliver sustainable development in Greenland."

The strategic review conducted by ERM will encompass a comprehensive assessment of Amaroq Minerals' current sustainability initiatives, with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement and aligning the company's approach with best practices in the industry. The aim is to ensure that Amaroq Minerals continues to contribute positively to the energy transition and sustainable development goals in Greenland.
