Fiverr stock drops on soft 4Q guidance

Fiverr shares stumbled Thursday afternoon after the company’s current quarter guidance left something to be desired.

The online freelance services marketplace posted revenue of $92.53 million, up 12% year-over-year and above Street expectations of $91.09 million. Adjusted earnings were $0.55 per share, compared to $0.21 per share a year earlier and analyst expectations of $0.46.

Looking ahead, Fiverr guided for fourth-quarter revenue of $91.6 million, 2% lower than analyst expectations.

“We continue to innovate our offerings to help our community of businesses and freelancers,” said Micha Kaufman, founder and CEO of Fiverr.

Shares of the company dropped more than 6% to $22.52.
