Doubleview Gold Corp (TSX-V:DBG, OTCQB:DBLVF) has announced a new drilling record at its Hat polymetallic deposit in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle region.
Updating investors on progress at Hat, the company said in a statement that it has drilled an “impressive” 10,320 meters this year, not only surpassing records but also illuminating the extraordinary potential of the deposit.
Drilling during 2023 has extended the previous boundaries of the Lisle deposit, strengthening the mineral inventory and volume for the maiden resource estimate, expected in the first quarter of 2024, it added.
Apart from drilling, Doubleview said the geology model at Hat was further developed using advanced 3D induced polarization (IP) geophysical models, setting the stage for exciting future exploration programs.
While extending the Lisle deposit, the company said it bridged the West Lisle Zone to the Main Lisle Zone, revealing the Buck Zone Discovery and uncovering new layers of the Lisle Zone deposit.
Doubleview president and CEO Farshad Shirvani commented: “I also wish to express without reservation my appreciation of all of our employees and contractors that have contributed tirelessly throughout a long field season to the exploration of our exciting Hat deposit."
