Crestview Exploration Inc (CSE:CRS) told investors that it has completed the first phase of its fall sampling program at the Falcon Mine project in Elko County, Nevada, about 1.5 kilometres south of its flagship Rock Creek property.
The company said that sampling was focused on a large vein hosting the historic Falcon Mine and Scorpion Mine and it was able to trace the vein at surface over a distance of about 1.5 kilometres from a prospect pit about 100 metres from the Falcon mine entrance north towards Rock Creek.
A total of 40 samples were collected from vein outcroppings and float at intervals along the vein and along a road cut crossing the vein between the Falcon and Scorpion mine workings. These have been delivered to the lab for analysis, with results expected within three to four weeks.
Weather permitting, Crestview intends to return to the area to carry out additional exploration and sampling of the area and notable features, such as continued outcropped of the vein.
Crestview Exploration is focused on the exploration and development of its gold and silver properties located in Nevada, a prolific and geopolitically stable mining jurisdiction.
