NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ:NXPI) shares climbed 0.8% in extended trading after topping Street expectations on the top and bottom lines.
The Dutch semiconductor company posted adjusted earnings of $3.70 per share, above expectations of $3.58 per share. Revenue was $3.43 billion, beating analyst projections of $3.39 billion.
For the fourth quarter, NXP guided for EPS between $3.44 and $3.86 on revenue between $3.3 billion and $3.5 billion.
“NXP delivered quarterly revenue of $3.43 billion, $34 million above the midpoint of guidance,” CEO Kurt Sievers said in a statement. “Revenue trends in our mobile, industrial and IoT and automotive end-markets all performed in-line or better than anticipated, while our communication infrastructure and other end market was slightly below our expectations.”
Shares of the company rose 0.7% after hours Monday to $184.10
