Wishbone Gold PLC (AIM:WSBN, AQSE:WSBN) today congratulated non-executive director Professor Michael Mainelli on his appointment as the 695th Lord Mayor of the City of London.
Mainelli will take a sabbatical from his position as a director of Wishbone during his year as Lord Mayor, which will commence next week.
Mainelli is a qualified accountant, securities professional, computer specialist, and management consultant, educated at Harvard University and Trinity College Dublin.
He gained his PhD at the London School of Economics where he was also a Visiting Professor of Innovation & IT.
Wishbone’s directors, staff and advisors said they look forward to welcoming him back in 2024.
