In early trading on Monday, shares of Aptamer Group PLC (AIM:APTA) fell 11%, despite the company's announcement of operational progress and strategic advancements under its new management team.
In the update, investors were told the company has successfully streamlined production processes, passed an ISO 9001 audit with commendations, and made strides in Optimer-based technologies for the immunohistochemistry market and targeted drug delivery systems.
However, a recent lull in customer confidence preceding a £3.6 million fundraise led to a temporary revenue shortfall compared to the previous year.
Aptamer remains optimistic, with a robust pipeline of £3.3 million across various projects and an influx of 128 new leads, signalling a potential rebound in customer confidence and order signings anticipated by year-end.
At 8.36 am, the shares were changing hands for 1.2p down 0.15p.
