Apple leads another big week of quarterly surprises: earnings roundup

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s fiscal 4Q print was strong, with sales clocking in ahead of expectarions at $89.5 billion, but future guidance is only cautiously optimistic.

Some highlights: iPhone sales reached a record $43.8 billion, contributing to the revenue boost. However, Mac and iPad sales declined, impacting total product revenue, which fell to $67.18 billion. Services revenue reached a Q4 record at $22.3 billion.

Despite a new all-time high in active device installations and strong customer loyalty, Apple shares closed 0.5% lower on Friday.
