Zinc8 Energy Solutions (CSE:ZAIR) announced it has appointed Jason Birmingham as its interim president and CEO and a director of the company, effective November 2.
The company said Birmingham brings more than 30 years of experience in capital markets, including serving as a director of several publicly listed companies.
He also has an extensive network of contacts within the financial and business community in North America and Europe, the company noted.
Additionally, the company said Sorin Spinu is no longer serving as its CFO and it is in the process of selecting a new finance chief.
Its board of directors will assist Birmingham in overseeing Zinc8’s financial operations until a new CFO has been selected.
Zinc8 Energy Solutions (CSE:ZAIR) focuses on developing and commercializing its low-cost, long-duration zinc-air energy storage system (ZESS) for utilities, microgrid, and Commercial and Industrial markets.
