Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence (AI) startup xAI will unveil its technology on Saturday, the billionaire announced.
“Tomorrow, xAI will release its first AI to a select group,” Musk wrote in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter that Musk purchased last year.
“In some important respects, it [the AI model] is the best that currently exists.”
Musk did not provide any additional information about what xAI's model does or who it will be released to.

Musk launched xAI in July to “understand the true nature of the universe” and rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, and Microsoft’s Bing AI.
It is working on a ChatGPT alternative dubbed “TruthGPT” by Musk.
xAI’s team includes researchers from high-profile AI labs such as Google Deepmind, OpenAI, and Microsoft.
