CAP-XX on the rise as supercapacitor sales recover

Shares in CAP-XX (AIM:CPX), the supercapacitor specialist, picked up 6% as sales in the four months to end October jumped by 35% to US$900,000.

“October is typically one of the highest revenue months for the financial year and this revenue result is an early indicator that the overstocking and supply chain issues that were evident during the last financial year are showing signs of recovery,” said a statement from the AIM-listed electrical engineer.

Orders currently stand at US$1.15 million, which is “supportive of a further improvement in revenues”, added the statement.

“We are seeing product revenues improving and, barring a general economic downturn, we expect this to continue.

“Finally, the company is keenly looking forward to the initial revenues from new products in which the company has made significant investments over recent years.”

Shares rose 0.05p to 0.93p.
