Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Ltd (LSE:CORD) has agreed to acquire Norkring België, which operates 25 communication and broadcast towers in Belgium, for €5.25 million cash.
The vendors are current owners Telenor II AS and Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen.
Norkring is also the holder of two DAB licences plus one DTT multiplex licence and provides radio and TV broadcasting services to commercial stations and distributors and colocation and site-hosting to broadcasters, niche communications operators and mobile network operators.
Trials using 5G are also being carried out by Norkring to broaden its offering.
Steven Marshall, Cordiant Digital Infrastructure's chairman, said Norkring offers quality assets, a platform for further asset diversification in Western Europe and comes with technology and know-how that will help Cordiant's other portfolio companies.
